The schematics in the OrangeBookDialog2Part3 (found on this site) will be very helpful in my attempt to get the NSV80 power board repaired.

If anyone has experience in with repairing defect on the NSV80 power board and knows of the most common failure modes, please feel free to comment, leading me into the direction of the possible defect, as well as providing me with hints of what is best taken along in the repair action as preventive repair measures (what components are prone to failure and can best be replaced in a preventive repair action).
